About The Gap … Website
This site is–and likely will always be–a work in progress. Our vision is to create a place where people can come to find insight, understanding, and solutions to the many challenges encountered in life transitions.
More however, we believe that while life transitions can be challenging, difficult, and sometimes dark, they can also be places where true self-discovery and personal growth takes place. Why, because–as one workshop participant said–it is during the difficult times that we “soul-search.” And this is really true. A major principle that one must abide by when embarking on personal development is “We don’t learn from those who agree with us.” The same can be said about agreeable circumstances. Learning, growing, changing, and improving often are most substantial during and after struggle.
We hope to help you through the struggle and to grow into the person and circumstance that you want to be.
